Stefano Ogliari Badessi (S.O.B.) is an Italian contemporary artist whose practice moves between installation, sculpture, land art and environmental processes. Each project begins with a place, a material and a question. Through observation, experimentation and making, his work explores new relationships between people, landscapes and the living world. After years of international projects across Europe, Asia and the United States, he now lives and works in a forest in the Italian Apennines, where he founded BOSCONAUTI—an evolving artistic research project where contemporary art, ecology, natural building and participatory practices converge.
Art is not the destination. It is the way I learn from Earth.
